On October 25th, rapper Kanye West released his 9th studio album Jesus is King. The artist stated: "This album has been made to be an expression of the gospel and to share the gospel and the truth of what Jesus has done to me. When I think of the goodness of Jesus and all that he does for me, my soul cries out."

From the Right

The album is standard Kanye: a lightning rod.

From the Left

The album has a Chik-Fil-A reference, and those that eat at that establishment are fettered to homophobia. West is merely commodifying the Gospel. In general, the album is not that great.
