From the Vegas Strip to the Gaza Strip: America’s Christian Empire in the Making

America as a Christian Empire: The Next Step in Our National Destiny

For centuries, conservatives have championed the idea of America as a Christian nation—a country founded on biblical principles, rooted in faith, and guided by divine providence. But in this new era, with President Trump seeking to expand our borders through the potential acquisition of Canada, Greenland, and Gaza, it is time to consider a greater vision: America as a Christian Empire.

While the term "empire" may sound foreign to modern ears, history tells a different story. Biblically, politically, and historically, Christian imperialism has often been a force for good—spreading civilization, law, and order under the banner of Christ. America, the last great defender of Western Christian values, is uniquely positioned to take up this mantle. While Christian empires preserved Christian culture, they often failed to produce true Christian transformation—which only comes through personal faith in Christ, not state enforcement. However, they did preserve Christian civilization and contributed to moral and legal traditions, shaping societies for the better.

Christian Empires of the Past: A Legacy of LeadershipThroughout history, Christian empires have safeguarded faith and shaped the world for the better:

  • The Byzantine Empire: Protected Christian doctrine for over a thousand years, preserving theology, culture, and law while defending Christendom against external threats.
  • The Holy Roman Empire: Upheld Christian law in Europe, providing stability and standing as a bulwark against Islamic expansion and paganism.
  • The British Empire: Spread education, legal order, and Christian missions worldwide, fostering moral and ethical advancements that still shape global governance today.

These empires were not perfect, but they were civilizational forces that spread justice, order, and faith—something the world desperately needs today.Biblical Support for a Christian EmpireThe Bible does not condemn empires—it condemns unrighteous empires. Throughout Scripture, we see God raising up righteous nations to rule over others when they act justly.

  • Israel's Influence on Tributary States: While Israel was not an empire, biblical precedents show how religious devotion influenced neighboring nations. For example, Naaman the Syrian (2 Kings 5) was transformed by Israel’s faith in Yahweh, demonstrating how a godly nation can influence others without direct rule.
  • The Great Commission (Matthew 28:19-20): Christ commands us to make disciples of all nations. While the Great Commission is primarily spiritual, it has societal effects:
    • Personal transformation → Christ changes hearts.
    • Cultural influence → Transformed people shape society.
    • Political governance → A just society emerges when leaders reflect Christian values. Thus, while the mission of the Church is spiritual, the impact of Christianity influences laws, governance, and national policies.
  • Romans 13:1-4: Paul acknowledges that governments are instituted by God to maintain order and righteousness.

While the Great Commission is not a call to conquest, it does inspire Christian civilization to shape laws, governance, and national policies in a way that reflects divine justice. America, uniquely blessed by God, is positioned to take on this mantle. Why Christian Empire, Not Just a Christian Nation? The idea of America as merely a Christian nation is too small for the challenges we face.

  • A Nation Defends Itself — An Empire Spreads Its Values
    • America as a Christian nation has spent decades defending itself against secularism and globalism, but an empire actively advances its cause.
  • A Nation Looks Inward — An Empire Builds Civilization
    • If America remains just a Christian nation, we are only concerned with our own survival. A Christian empire, however, seeks to restore order to a chaotic world.
  • A Nation is Limited — An Empire Has a Destiny
    • The United States has long been a beacon of freedom. Why should that beacon not expand? If we truly believe in our values, should we not bring them to others?

The Case for Acquiring Canada, Greenland, and GazaPresident Trump’s vision of expanding American territory aligns not only with our strategic interests but with our Christian responsibility.

  • Canada: A Wayward Christian Land
    • Canada was once a stronghold of Christian values but has succumbed to radical secularism. By bringing Canada under the American flag, we can restore Christian governance and uphold biblical principles.
  • Greenland: A Strategic Christian Outpost
    • Greenland, though sparsely populated, is a gateway to the Arctic. It is also home to many Christians who would benefit from American leadership rather than remaining under Denmark’s secular rule.
  • Gaza: A Moral Responsibility
    • The situation in Gaza is dire. While much of the world sees it as a conflict zone, what if America saw it as an opportunity? By bringing Gaza under Christian governance, we could introduce stability, protect Christians, and build a future where faith thrives rather than persecution.

Conclusion: A Call to Action

America has long been a Christian nation. It is time to think bigger. Empires throughout history have spread law, order, and faith—should we not do the same?As President Trump considers expanding our borders, conservatives must recognize the moment before us. America has been blessed by God to lead, not just defend. The world is looking for order, strength, and moral clarity—and we are the only nation left that can provide it.It is time to embrace our divinely appointed destiny. Not just a Christian nation. A Christian empire.
