The Northeastern Chinese city of Harbin has been locked down due to a new outbreak of the coronavirus. Local officials said that the outbreak was caused by a Chinese student who was studying abroad at New York University and returned to China on March 19th.
The student was placed in quarantine for 14 days after returning from New York city and tested negative for the virus and for antibodies for the virus. Other reports blame travelers from Russia for the new outbreak.
One America News Network correspondent Jack Posobeic, who has lived and worked in China in the past, has shared on Twitter that the Chinese government is refusing to provide details on what is really happening in Harbin. Mr. Posobiec retweeted a video that purported to show residential buildings in the city of Harbin locked from the outside.
