In a major development for voter fraud investigations, a Mexia, Texas, woman by the name of Kelly Reagan Brunner has been arrested and charged with 134 felony counts of voter fraud. Brunner, a social worker at the Mexia State Supported Living Center, could face up to 10 years in prison for registering 67 residents to vote without their permission.
“Registering citizens to vote or to obtain mail ballots without their consent is illegal. It is particularly offensive when individuals purport to be champions for disability rights, when in reality they are abusing our most vulnerable citizens in order to gain access to their ballots and amplify their own political voice. My office is prepared to assist any Texas county in combating this insidious form of fraud.”Ken Paxton, Texas Attorney General
The Left denies allegations of voter fraud. “Where is the evidence?” they ask. Sen. Cory Booker (D-NJ) tweeted, “Donald Trump lost. His claim of widespread voter fraud is baseless. There is zero evidence. We must all, regardless of party or candidate preference, reject Trump’s efforts to undermine the bedrock principles that have made us the oldest continuous democracy on Earth.” The New York Time‘s Catie Edmondson asked who will tell “Mr. Trump, who refuses to concede the election, that it is time to step aside — or at the very least, to stop spreading claims about the integrity of the nation’s elections that are contrary to considerable evidence. And there is little chance that Mr. Trump, who has been perplexed and sometimes enraged by the Republican institutionalists who might normally be expected to play such a role, would listen if they did.”
“I would urge my colleagues in the media who find themselves at press conferences with Trump and/or Trump/GOP officials: please, please stop asking *opinion* questions (“Do you believe there is voter fraud?”) and start asking *fact* questions (“Where is your evidence of fraud?”)”Mehdi Hasan, MSNBC Political Analyst
Elizabeth C. McLaughlin, CEO of the Gaia Leadership Project, tweeted, “Look, let’s just be clear about it: Biden won. The electors will certify it. They have NO EVIDENCE of voter fraud that would overturn the election, let alone to the tune of 5m+ votes. Under the Constitution, Trump has NO POWER after 1/20 at noon. Don’t let them scare you.”
The Right argues that there is evidence that voter fraud has happened at un unprecedented rate during the 2020 presidential election. Greg Abbott, the Governor of Texas, stated, “Election fraud is real. In Texas, we investigate and prosecute it…All states must take election fraud seriously to ensure confidence in elections.” Regarding the incident in Texas, the Right believes that “this kind of thing is going on all across the country” but that very few attorneys general are “willing to investigate and prosecute” accordingly. Rudy Giuliani, President Trump’s personal attorney, noted that the media has refused to cover recent press conferences in which evidence has been presented. Four witnesses, representing 50 other ballot inspectors, testified under oath that they were blocked from witnessing the counting of ballots. It was reported that 350,000 Pennsylvania ballots are “illegal ballots,” due to failure to comply with Pennsylvania voter laws. “You may not believe the evidence, but you don’t get to decide that. The judge does. So, there is evidence of voter fraud on the part of the Democratic party.”
“The media keeps asking why the Trump campaign won’t “provide evidence” of their claims but every time they try to hold a press conference with claims of evidence, the media refuses to air it. How does that work?”Charlie Kirk, Founder of Turning Point USA
Giuliani reported that there are “well over a thousand witnesses that fraud was committed.” Lawsuits are still underway in multiple swing states, and contrary to the Left’s calls to “Count EVERY ballot,” the Right argues, “Every LEGAL ballot counts.”
